Meet Talon Garrick

Hi! I'm Talon Garrick, one of the owners of Urban Forest Landscaping. Born and raised here in American Fork, Utah,  I've always been an outdoors guy; camping, hiking, playing baseball, anything that gets me outside. That love for the outdoors is honestly what led me to start this landscaping company.

Everything shifted when I married my amazing wife in December 2024. Suddenly I wasn't just thinking about today, but about our future and building something meaningful. My buddy Spencer and I started Urban Forest Landscaping because we kept seeing the same problems in the industry around Utah County; companies not being straight with customers or not caring whether families actually loved their outdoor spaces. We knew we could do better.

Running this company has been such a wild, incredible experience! I've been blessed working  with an amazing team, great partners, and wonderful clients who trust us with their homes. We've worked on some awesome projects, including winning a Judge's Choice Award at the Utah Valley Parade of Homes, but what I love most are those creative installations we do for families throughout American Fork, Lehi, and Pleasant Grove.

Here's the thing about landscaping in Utah; we have incredible mountain views, but we also have unique challenges. The best outdoor spaces aren't just pretty; they're places where families actually want to spend time. Whether you're hosting barbecues, letting kids play, or enjoying morning coffee, your landscape should work for your real life.

At the end of the day, I want to do good work that makes people happy with their outdoor spaces while building something that takes care of my family. That's the dream—creating beautiful landscapes throughout Utah Valley while building something sustainable for our future.
